AfIHQSA was born out of a desire to bridge the knowledge and competency gap in the area of healthcare quality and safety in the health sector. It was also as a result of the absence of institutions on the continent (i.e. Africa) that trains frontline healthcare workers in the principles and application of quality and safety in health systems.
